Gena Major
Aprille Moore is a Major in the Fulton County Sheriff's Office, where she serves as the commander for training, background, and recruitment. Before joining the Sheriff's Office in 2021, Moore spent 14 years with the Fulton County Marshal's Department as a Deputy Marshal Sergeant, where she managed its physical fitness and wellness program. That same year, she was honored as one of Atlanta Business Chronicle's 40 Under Forty.
A graduate of Georgia State University and Troy University, where she earned a master's degree in public administration, Moore brings her passion for public safety and community building to her volunteer work. She has served as a board member for Back on My Feet and, for the past decade, as an ambassador for Black Girls RUN!
Moore is a certified running coach and a marathoner. She is also a frequent Atlanta Track Club and Kilometer Kids volunteer, sharing her love of running with the local community.
