Chris Brown
A five-time Olympian representing the Bahamas, Chris Brown, known as the "Fireman," is a four-time medalist in the 4x400-meter relay - including gold in 2012, when he served as his country's flagbearer at the Opening Ceremony of the Games. He is also the 2010 World Indoor Champion at 400 meters, 2001 World Champion in the 4x400m and a double gold medalist (400m, 4x400m) at the 2007 Pan American Games. A graduate of Norfolk State University, Chris has been head track and field coach at Clayton State University since 2019, and was named Coach of the Year in 2021. In addition, Brown has hosted professional track events in his native Bahamas and in 2022 was appointed Ambassador-at-Large for all sports. He has partnered with adidas, which sponsored him during his competitive career, to donate sneakers and spikes to his alma mater.
