TMS Explorer Dash 5K and Fun Run

The Museum School PTO and Foundation are proud to present the Annual Explorer Dash 5K and 1-mile Fun Run event on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. This is a family-fun event that raises awareness about The Museum School and unites our community through the importance of incorporating healthy living and eating habits into our everyday life. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Museum School PTO/Foundation and the continued progress of our school. The 5K is a scenic course which winds through Avondale Estates and passes by the Avondale Lake. It is an out and back course with rolling hills and a downhill finish. The 5K will begin at 8:30 A.M. next to the TMS gym on Forrest Blvd. Race medals are being given to the top M/F overall 5K finishers and top finishers in every age category of 5K. The 5K is an Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event! The USATF Certificate # is GA22052WC. Race was measured from the right lane. Runners must stay in right lane on the course. The 1-mile Fun Run will start at 9:30 A.M. next to the TMS gym on Forrest Blvd. All Fun Run finishers (with Bib) will get a Fun Run medal! The Fun Run is not a timed event. No dogs allowed on the racecourse.
