Sarah Melkerson

Sarah is a Metro Atlanta native with a love for helping others, event planning, and keeping Atlanta fit! Sarah started her running career at North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA and competed in Atlanta Track Club events, and continued her running career doing the Steeplechase and other mid-distance activities at the University of Montevallo. After school, she moved to Nashville and joined the running community there, growing her network and experience in the sport before eventually coming back to Atlanta to call this running community home. Sarah can vouch that Atlanta really is Running City USA.

Sarah is looking to spread the love of running and mission of Atlanta Track Club through world class events. Sarah enjoys street tacos, dogs, the color blue, polar bears, distance running, candy occasionally, running the Peachtree for food and fun, and good conversation!
