Organizations to Receive Guaranteed Entries into the Peachtree in Exchange for Fundraising Commitments
ATLANTA - March 14, 2025 - Atlanta Track Club has selected nine Atlanta-based nonprofit organizations to participate in the 2025 Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree with a Purpose Official Charity Partner Program. Each organization will receive a set number of guaranteed entries for the 56th Running of the Peachtree, held on July 4, 2025. Runners who secure these entries will commit to raising funds in support of their designated nonprofit.
"The AJC Peachtree Road Race has always been about bringing people together and making a difference," said Rich Kenah, CEO of Atlanta Track Club and race director of the Peachtree. "Through the Peachtree with a Purpose Official Charity Partner Program, we're proud to support organizations that are changing lives across Atlanta. This program allows runners to not only experience the excitement of race day but to make a lasting impact in their communities."

To qualify as an AJC Peachtree with a Purpose Official
Charity Partner, organizations had to be a registered 501(c)(3) with a local
chapter in Georgia supporting initiatives related to animal welfare, the
environment, healthcare, fitness, homelessness or social justice.
Registration for the 56th Running of the AJC Peachtree
Road Race opens Monday, April 1, and runs through April 30 for both Atlanta
Track Club members and the general public. Non-members must enter a lottery for
a chance to participate, with all entrants having an equal opportunity but no
guarantee of selection. Lottery results will be announced in early May.
Runners looking for a guaranteed entry can secure
their spot by fundraising for one of the official charity partners.
