The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race, the world's largest 10K, will live up to its billing as the "Party of the Summer" by more than doubling the number of bands, dancers, DJs and musicians along the course from the 2023 race, organizers announced today.
Adding to the day's exuberance, six stations will be set up along the course where spectators can grab cheer items such as hand clappers, thunder sticks, and bells to amplify their support for the 50,000 participants.

The party doesn't stop at the finish line, where a festival featuring four hours of entertainment will keep the celebration going.

Another vibrant addition to the race is the Fun Zone in the Meadow of Piedmont Park at the finish line, which will feature games and activities including Jumbo Yard Pong, Human Foosball, a 360 Camera, Giant Jenga and Connect Four, and carnival games such as Ring Toss, Dice Wrecking Ball, Alien Cornhole, and Snack Pinball.
"We're excited to bring an elevated level of entertainment to the Peachtree this year," said Rich Kenah, CEO of Atlanta Track Club and race director of the Peachtree. "We wanted to do everything we could to make this the true party of the summer, a celebration of community and fitness."
Race registration is on track to sell out at 50,000 participants, the most since 2019 and evidence of a solid rebound in the post-pandemic era.. Atlanta Track Club expects capacity to be reached before this Saturday, June 15 when registration is scheduled to close.
The current registration cost for non-members of Atlanta Track Club is $75. Atlanta Track Club members are guaranteed entry until the race's capacity is reached and placement in Wave M or earlier and will pay $45 throughout the registration period.
