Kathleen Schellman
2024
Coordinator - Kilometer Kids and Youth Running
Kathleen grew up in Atlanta, where her passion for sports and competition led her to discover the sport of running. This pursuit eventually brought her to Birmingham, AL, where she competed for UAB's cross country and track teams. During her time at UAB, Kathleen earned a BS in kinesiology with a focus on exercise science and began coaching post-collegiate runners to help expand opportunities in the sport. A self-proclaimed "shoe nerd," she worked as a running shoe outfitter throughout much of her college years. Kathleen is deeply committed to promoting the importance of movement, and you can usually find her exploring the trails of North Georgia on the weekends.
