There is predicted to be light rain from 3 a.m. - tailing off until 9 a.m. on race morning. Please dress appropriately for the weather with rain jackets, boots, umbrellas and/or any other rain repellent items. Handwarmers will be available. We cannot thank you enough for volunteering for this year's Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon, 5K, Mile & Dash! With over 12000 participants, we cannot produce such a large scale event without YOU! From the set-up to the expo to the finish line, volunteers are there. Expo Set-Up Check-In

Expo Manager, Rachel Schrensky, will see you as you enter into the Fanplex front doors, check you in, distribute your items, and set you with the days tasks once you enter.

    - Food & Fluids
    - Triple Peach gift for qualifying volunteers (Qualifying pacers will receive their gift at the Triple Peach Tent)
Finish Area & Plaza Set-Up Check-In

Events Director, Enrique Tomas will be inside the Center Park Stadium Plaza waiting to welcome you, distribute your items and instruct you on the day's tasks.

COURSE HYDRATION & COURSE MONITOR VOLUNTEERS

Course volunteers are so vital! You give energy to race participants as they work to reach their goal of the finish line. Atlanta Track Club will provide some cheer items, but feel free to bring noise makers, bullhorns, and encouraging signs to energize participants as they pass. Please be sure signs and language used are appropriate.

Course Parking 
Course volunteers check in directly with their Crew Chiefs. Parking locations can be found here. These locations will be updated until 11/26. Your lead volunteer, also known as your crew chief, will contact you with all parking details.
Volunteer Check-In

Volunteer Check-In varies on your assigned area. Your crew chief should have touched base with you on your parking and meeting location. You will go directly to your crew chief to check-in and receive pertinent information and items for the day.

Please arrive early for your shift to avoid competition with participant traffic. Volunteer Check-in opens at 4:30 AM. Volunteers will receive:

Bag Policy 

No backpacks, coolers or bags of any kind are allowed at the start, on course or in the finish area. Anyone at the start with a bag will be asked to surrender it and its contents. All bags in the finish area will be subject to search and emptied into a clear plastic bag which we will provide. We ask that you leave bags and other extra items at home to ensure safety and security and expedite movement throughout the day.

  • Turn right onto Little ST SE
  • Turn left onto Hank Aaron
  • Purple Lot will be located to your left-hand side
