Teams Announced for 2017 Wingfoot XC Classic's Varsity Championship Division
ATLANTA - September 18, 2017 - Atlanta Track Club has selected 32 girls and 31 boys teams to compete in the Varsity Championship Division at the 2017 Wingfoot XC Classic. These teams were selected based on their performances up to this point in the season, current rankings, and coaches’ preference.
Teams not selected for this division will compete in the Varsity Division. Junior Varsity teams will run in the division that mirrors that gender’s varsity race.

The 2017 Wingfoot XC Classic will take place this Saturday, September 23 at Sam Smith Park in Cartersville, Georgia. In addition to high school and middle school team races, the event offers a community 5K (free for Atlanta Track Club members; $10 for non-members) and a free one-mile race for children ages 7-14. Registration is available here through Thursday, September 21 at 11:59 p.m.
