Expo Volunteers - July 2 & 3 

Bib Volunteer Training

If you are a Number Pick-Up volunteer, Bib Volunteer Training will occur on three consecutive nights:

In-Person at Atlanta Track Club office:

  • Monday, June 24th from 6:30-7:30pm

Volunteer Parking 

Free parking for volunteers is located at Red Deck across from the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Georgia World Congress Center. Volunteers will need to present their parking pass to be scanned to enter and exit the parking deck. You will be able to present your parking pass digitally on your phone, but we recommend printing your parking pass.

Volunteer Check-In

  • Check-in plaza will be at Georgia World Congress Center Building C Hall C4. There will be a clearly marked " Volunteer Check-In" sign.

Expo Set-Up Days 

Free parking for volunteers is located at Red Deck across from the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Georgia World Congress Center. Volunteers will receive a parking pass for validation on site at volunteer check-in. You will only need it to leave the lot and can leave the ticket you receive upon arrival in your car. You will scan your ticket and the parking pass upon departure.

All bags in the finish area will be subject to search and emptied into a clear plastic bag which we will provide. We ask that you leave bags and other extra items at home to ensure safety and security and expedite movement throughout the day.

Start Area Pre-Race Set Up - July 3 

Address: Lenox Mall - 3393 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30326

Parking:
Free parking is located at Lenox Square Mall - back left corner of parking lot in front of Macy's on the Peachtree St entrance side. No parking pass needed.

Meeting Location:
Please meet Enrique Tomas & Eric Nelson at the visible white tent located in the back left parking lot in front of Macy's on the Peachtree St entrance side to receive your volunteer items and instructions for the day.

Please come ready for fun in the sun by dressing appropriately for the weather. Sunscreen will be provided.

Bag Policy 

No backpacks, coolers or bags of any kind are allowed at the start, on course or in the finish area. Anyone at the start with a bag will be asked to surrender it and its contents. All bags in the finish area will be subject to search and emptied into a clear plastic bag which we will provide. We ask that you leave bags and other extra items at home to ensure safety and security and expedite movement throughout the day.

Finish Area Pre- Race - Set-Up -  June 30 - July 3 

Parking:
Finish Area Set-Up volunteer parking is located at Midtown High School. Please CLICK HERE to print and view parking instructions.

Meeting Location:
Please meet Caryn Lamphier, Jennie Coakley & Julia Manseau-Toth at the white trailer seen from the Charles Allen entrance of Piedmont Park to receive your volunteer items and instructions for the day.

Please come ready for fun in the sun by dressing appropriately for the weather. Sunscreen will be provided.

Finish Area Parking - Race Day 

There is not designated parking for finish volunteers. All finish volunteers must use neighborhood parking, public transportation, rideshare or other forms of transportation. MARTA is highly suggested. MARTA will begin operations at 4AM.

Drop Off Location: Volunteers can be dropped off at the corner of 10th & Monroe at Park Tavern and all volunteers must enter from the street level of Park Tavern to check-in at the Piedmont Room on the second floor.

Volunteer Check-In

  • Please arrive early for your shift to avoid competition with participant traffic.
  • Volunteer Check-in opens at 4:30 AM Please arrive atleast 30 minutes before your scheduled shift arrival time.
