Entry into the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race is $42 for members and will remain the same through June 4. The price for nonmembers is as follows:

When is Atlanta Track Club member registration for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race?
Registration for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race is in March 2023! Members can begin registering March 8, 2023.
Members must have an active membership by the time they register in order to receive the lowest price entry into the event. Members can access the registration link from www.ajc.com/peachtree or from their member profile.
When is registration for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race and how does registration for the Peachtree work?
Registration opens for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race in March 2023! Members can begin registering March 8. On March 15, registration opens for everyone. Registration will remain open until June 4 or when the event sells out.
Do I need to submit a proof of result during registration?
During registration event participants will be asked what their expected finish time will be. They will then have the opportunity to submit a proof of this qualifying time in two ways:
- Providing a link to an online result
- Uploading an image of proof of results via PNG, JPEG, GIF, PDF
- The qualifying time they submit must be from a race between January 1, 2021 to March 11, 2023 and on a USATF certified 5K or 10K course.
- Participants will be placed in the appropriate start wave based on the time they submit.
- Participants will not be able to go back into their haku account and edit their qualifying time once their registration is complete.
- Those that do not submit a qualifying time will be randomly placed in one of the last start waves. A list of official qualifying events can be found here.

What information will I need to have on hand to enter a finish time for this year's Peachtree start wave placement?
Those who wish to submit a finish time from a past race will need to provide the finish time with a direct link to your results or a screenshot. To find past results from Atlanta Track Club events, visit https://www.atlantatrackclub.org/results.
Will the time I submit for start wave placement be verified?
Yes, all times submitted for start wave placement will be verified by Atlanta Track Club. If your time is not correct, cannot be verified or you do not submit a time, members will be placed in waves L or M, while non-members will be be randomly placed in waves U-Y.
Your name in registration must match your name in the results that you submit for verification.
I forgot to submit my start wave placement time during registration. Can I submit my time now?
No. Your expected finish time and your proof of results must be submitted during registration. Participants will not be allowed to go back into their accounts and edit this at a later time.
My name has changed since registration, can I change it?
In the event of a legal name change since submitting your qualifying time, please contact peachtree@atlantatrackclub.org
My name is listed different in results for my qualifying time, what should I do?

My address has changed since registration, can I change it?
Log into your haku account after registration by May 10 to update if you need to update your address.
Race Number Delivery by UPS
If you purchased Race Number Delivery by UPS and your shipping address changes, it is your responsibility to notify questions@atlantatrackclub.org by May 10. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
All Other Products Purchase via registration
If you purchased VIP Parking, a commemorative shirt/tank, or the adidas ADIZERO SL Running Shoes Race and your shipping address changes, it is your responsibility to notify questions@atlantatrackclub.org. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
I have a new time I would like to submit for Peachtree, may I submit that time after I register?
No. Your expected finish time and your proof of results must be submitted during registration. Participants will not be allowed to go back into their accounts and edit this at a later time.
I purchased a product during registration. How do I receive it?

What is the time frame for completing my 10K if I choose the virtual options?
You must complete your 10K between July 4 and July 6. Results must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. on July 6 via the results submission link provided via email the week of the event. Your submission link can also be found in your haku participant account under Your Important Reminders. The link will only be active during the submission window.
Are refunds available?
Atlanta Track Club events are non-refundable unless you purchased Refundable Registration. Learn more about Refundable Registration here.
I deferred my entry to last year's Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race. Do I need to register again?
Yes, you will receive a deferral email with a unique registration link the morning of March 15. To take advantage of your deferred entry, complete the registration form any time from March 15 through June 4 at 11:59 p.m. EST. 2023

Do members still receive guaranteed entry?
All members are guaranteed entry in 2023.
Members can log in directly to their membership account and on from the MEMBERSHIP tab they can register.
What does the virtual experience include?
Virtual participants will have their race kit, including the finisher's shirt, shipped to them once their finish time is submitted. A virtual race number will be available for download. Each virtual participant will receive information on how to submit their results via email. Results can also be submitted in your haku participant account.
What is the minimum age to run Peachtree?
You must be at least ten years old as of race day to participate in the event.
How do I receive my race number?
There are two options to receive your race number.
Option 1: Race Number Delivery by UPS
- Race number delivery by UPS may be purchased for an additional $20 fee during registration or by logging back into your haku account by May 10. If you choose this option, $20 will be added onto your registration fee and your race number will be shipped in June. If your shipping address changes, it is your responsibility to notify questions@atlantatrackclub.org by May 10. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- If needed to go back into your account to purchase, here is how:
- Log into haku participant account
- Click the BUY PRODUCTS tab
- Quick add, select quantity, and purchase
Option 2: Picking up your race number at the Expo
- If race number delivery by UPS is not purchased, your second option is to receive your race number at the Expo for no additional cost. Participants must attend the Peachtree Road Race Health & Fitness Expo presented by Publix on July 2 or 3 at the Georgia World Congress Center.
Where is the Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo presented by Publix located?
The Peachtree Health & Fitness Expo presented by Publix will take place July 2-3 in Hall C4 of the Georgia World Congress Center from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
What items do I need in order to pick up my race number at the Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo presented by Publix?
- An ID (Photo/Copy/ Original) - Drivers license, passport, government/school-issued ID, employee badge
- Check-in pass from haku account
Can a friend or family member pick up my number for me?
Yes, if you are unable to pick up your race number at the Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo presented by Publix, your number may be picked up by a third party. However, the person making the pick up must have all of the proper identification and verification documents required. The items a friend or family member will need in order to pick up your race number are:
- An ID (Photo/Copy/ Original) - Drivers license, passport, government/school-issued ID, employee badge
- Check-in pass from haku account
How will I get my shirt?
In person participants will receive their finisher's shirt on race day at the finish line of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race, while virtual participants will receive their shirt with their race kit shipped via UPS after submitting their results.
Will there be shirt exchanges?
Shirt exchanges will be available beginning Thursday, July 7 at the Atlanta Track Club office during regular business hours of 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Please contact us ahead of time via questions@atlantatrackclub.org and we will set aside a size for you and inform you if we have your size.
How will I get my commemorative medal?
If you purchased a commemorative medal during registration, in person participants will pick it up at the Expo or after the race on July 4 in Piedmont Park. Virtual participants will have theirs shipped as part of their race kit. Additional commemorative medals will be available for purchase after the race in Piedmont Park and on atlantatrackclub.org while supplies last.
Will there be an elite competition?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race will feature an elite competition with prize money. Details will be announced soon.
Will Peachtree Junior have options as well?
Yes, the Peachtree Junior will be held in-person and virtually on Sunday, July 2 at Piedmont Park.
I can't run, so I'd like to give my number to a friend. Is that OK?
No, race numbers are non-transferable and those participating with another participant's number will be disqualified.
I won't be able to run. What can I do with my number?
All registrations are non-transferable and nondeferrable. Registration is also not refundable unless you purchase Refundable Registration.
What is Refundable Registration?
During the registration process, participants have the opportunity to add Refundable Registration offered from Protect Group. To secure Refundable Registration, an additional service fee of 14% on all items purchased (excluding event processing fees and donations) will be assessed at checkout. If purchased and unable to attend the event for one of the covered reasons, Refundable Registration enables a participant to receive a 100% refund of their entry fee and product purchases within 10 business days of submitting a claim. Why is there a letter in front of my race number?
The letter in front of your race number indicates the start wave in which you have been placed. For example, if your race number is H76455, that indicates you have been assigned to start wave H.
I've lost my number. Can I get a replacement?
Unfortunately, only one number is issued per runner. Lost numbers cannot be replaced under any circumstance. If you still wish to participate, charity numbers are available.
Can I run the race without a race number?
No, you must have an official race number. Runners/walkers without official race numbers will be asked to leave the course and will not receive any services in the finish area.
Can I sell my race number?
No, the resale of race numbers is prohibited. Numbers worn by unregistered participants are subject to disqualification.
I selected to pick up my number at the Expo, but am unable to pick it up now. Can a friend pick up my number for me?
Yes, if you are unable to pick up your race number at the Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo presented by Publix, your number may be picked up by a third party. However, the person making the pick up must have all of the proper identification and verification documents required, and your check-in pass from your haku participant account.
My friends/family have been assigned numbers in different start waves. How can we run together?
If you'd like to run with someone assigned to a different start wave, you may do so by running together in the start wave with the highest letter. For example, if your number is in Start Wave A and your friend or family member is in Start Wave L, you may run together in Start Wave L. You may not move to an earlier start wave or than what you registered for. The start wave that you are assigned is indicated on your race number.
Are there awards?
Age group awards will be mailed out after the event once results are finalized (approximately two weeks after event day). Top 1000 awards will be given to the top 500 men and top 500 women finishers in the meadow on event day at the Top 1000 tent located in the meadow of Piedmont Park.
Is water available on the course?
Yes, hydration stations and water sprays will be located approximately every mile, on both sides of Peachtree Street, along the course.
Is there a course time limit?
The Peachtree course will officially close at 10:45 a.m.
When does the start line officially close?
The start line closes immediately following the last runner in the last start wave. Unfortunately, we are not able to leave the start line open for additional time.
Is the course closed to traffic?
Yes, the entire 10K course is closed to traffic; however, please be mindful of your surroundings in case of any emergencies.
Are there any items that aren't allowed on the course?
For your safety and that of others, we do not allow the following items on the course: any wheeled conveyance including baby strollers, inline skates, skateboards, bicycles, skateboards, scooters. Pets are also not allowed on the course.
Where can I meet up with my family or friends after the event?
The Family Meeting Area is located in the meadow of Piedmont Park immediately upon exiting the finish chute. The Family Meeting Area is organized alphabetically so make a plan to meet at a certain letter combination. Please note that later letters in the alphabet are located along the fence line closer to 10th Street.
Is the Peachtree a timed event?
Yes, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race is a timed event. All event participants will receive a Chrono-Track B-tag timing tag attached to their race numbers. The tag is activated when you cross the start line mat and stops timing when you cross over the finish line mat. Wear your bib on the front of your shirt and do not cover under any layers such as a fuel belt for accurate timing. If you do not cross the timing mats at the start, you will be disqualified and removed from results.
When will race results be posted?
Unofficial race results will be posted on atlantatrackclub.org and ajc.com/peachtree the evening of July 4. Results inquiries will be accepted for two weeks after the race. At this time the results will be finalized and made official.
Why do the official results show me running slower than the time I recorded on my watch?
The quality of different GPS units can vary, but all of them can be affected by conditions such as buildings or large crowds that can interfere with reception of satellite signals causing them to be inaccurate. The chip time is your official time.
May I run with headphones?
For safety reasons, music players and headphones are strongly discouraged on the course so that you may adequately here instructions from race and emergency personnel. Course entertainment is provided along the route.
Are baby joggers or strollers allowed in the event?
No. For everyone's safety, no wheeled conveyances of any kind, other than those in the official Shephard Center Wheelchair Division, are permitted on the course.
Can I bring my backpack?
We recommend that you pack light and leave valuables at home. Participants are not permitted to run/walk with a backpack other than approved hydration packs. Click here for a link to our event/program policies.
Are pets allowed in the event?
We're sorry, but pets and wheeled conveyances, including baby joggers or strollers, skateboards, bicycles, and skates, are not permitted on the course.
Can I switch between virtual and in-person?
In 2023, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race has both an in person and virtual option. Changes from virtual to in-person or vice versa can be made until June 4 with your participant account.

I am a very slow runner. Can I still run the race?
Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome. If you're relatively slow, however, you should stay towards the right side of the course. Be sure not to stop suddenly or veer into the paths of other runners. If you are running with friends, run no more than two abreast. Doing this will keep foot traffic on the course moving smoothly.
I am not able to run the race. Can I still get my T-shirt?
The Peachtree shirt is a finisher's shirt. Only those completing the entire race are allowed to receive the Peachtree T-shirt. No exceptions.
How do I get my pictures from the race?
Race photos are handled by MarathonFoto. You will receive an e-mail with a link to pictures of you after the event.
For those participants who purchase the photo package during registration: You can expect to receive a photo confirmation email from MarathonFoto typically within 24 hours of the race. Participants should allow 24-48 hours post-race for image upload and the identification process to complete, and then refer to their photo confirmation email to access the link to download their photos. Once on the order confirmation page, you will see a red DOWNLOAD IMAGES access link to download photos at no additional cost to the participant.
Please note: Sometimes, these emails can end up in your spam folders. We encourage participants to check their span folders for their photo confirmation email if they cannot find it.
For those participants who have not purchased photos before July 4 but would like access to their photos for purchase: You can search for your photos by bib number or last name either on Marathonfoto.com, or through the event specific photo link provided to the race (coming at a later date). You will also receive an email from MarathonFoto typically within 48 hours of the race with a direct link to your personalized photo gallery for purchase.

What COVID-19 Safety Measures are in place?
Atlanta Track Club continues to monitor guidance from the CDC on COVID-19 prevention and safety measures. At this time, we are taking the following steps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 at Club events and programs.
- Atlanta Track Club requests all participants with symptoms or exposure to someone with COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status, consider not attending events or programs
- There is no proof of vaccination or negative test required to participate in Atlanta Track Club events
- Participants are not expected to wear a mask at outdoor events and programs
- All attendees are encouraged to wear a mask while indoors at number pickups or expos
- All participants are encouraged to bring their own hydration on course
- Attendees are requested to maintain social distancing and avoid physical contact throughout the duration of the event
- Atlanta Track Club asks all attendees to consider taking additional steps to ensure their safety and the safety of those around them.
