Atlanta's favorite running and walking destination and Atlanta's historic running and walking organization are teaming up to bring a series of races to the Beltline. The second stop of the series takes us to the Westside. Test your speed in the competitive 8K (ages 9 & older) or stick to the non-competitive 5K (ages 8 & older) where strollers and dogs are welcome.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION

  • 5K - $55
  • 8K - $60

T-shirt sizing and availability cannot be guaranteed for those registering on race day.

TIMING & RESULTS

Both the competitive 8K distance and non-competitive 5K distance will be timed. Unofficial results are immediately available online via the Atlanta Track Club app. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquires have been processed.

Your timing device for this event is the MYLAPS ThinTag placed on the back of your bib. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is:

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

2025 COURSE 

Course time limit:

  • 5K: 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)
  • 8K: 1 hour and 30 minutes (18 minute per mile pace)

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, dogs and baby joggers/strollers are permitted on the non-competitive 5K course ONLY. Headphones are strongly discouraged.

Number Pickup

Race number pickup will be available on race morning beginning at 5:30 a.m. T-shirts will be distributed at the same location after the event.

Parking

Parking is extremely limited at the Westside Beltline 8K/5K.

If you are able, we strongly recommend you walk, cycle, rideshare or take MARTA:

  • Take MARTA to West End Station, then walk or bike 0.8 miles to Lee + White.
  • Grab a bike or scooter and take the BeltLine to Lee + White.
  • Hop in a Lyft or Uber, or join friends for a good old fashioned carpool.

There will be free on-site parking available at Lee + White, 1020 White St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310. Free street parking will also be available in the neighborhood surrounding Lee + White for any overflow. Please plan to arrive by 6:15 a.m.


Awards - 8K Only

Overall awards are based on gun time and overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Age group awards are based on net time. Awards will only be given for the 8K race.

  • 8K Overall male, female and non-binary
  • 8K Masters male, female and non-binary
  • 8K Age Group Awards for the top three males, females and non-binary in each age group (9-14, 15-19, five-year increments up to 90+)

Post Race Complimentary Beer

Monday Night Brewing will be providing one (1) complimentary beer for all participants ages 21 and older post-race. ID checks will be required in order to receive the beer. Your race bib will have a tear ticket that will be redeemed for the beer in the post-race festival area. If you do not redeem your ticket after the race, the tear ticket will be valid at either Atlanta Monday Night location during normal business hours on Saturday, August 2nd only.

Strollers & Dogs

Atlanta Track Club wants every member of the family to feel welcome at the Westside Beltline 5K - 8K including those family members with four legs or riding in strollers/baby joggers. For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, dogs and baby joggers/strollers will start in their own wave and are ONLY permitted on the non-competitive 5K course. Dogs and baby joggers/strollers will NOT be permitted on the competitive 8K course. We ask all participants pushing a young one in a stroller/baby jogger or running with their pet to adhere to certain rules and regulations.
