2024 Grand Prix XC 5K

The 6th and final stop in the Grand Prix Series presented by Summit Coffee brings us back to our roots for a Cross Country race in Decatur. Participants will tackle the challenging hills of Legacy park on this two looped cross country course.

Course Information

Course time limit:

  • 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)

For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, no headphones, pets or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including roller/inline skates, and bicycles are permitted on the course.

Timing & Results

Unofficial results available online the afternoon of the event. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquires have been processed.

Your timing device for this event is the Chronotrack single use B-tag. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is...

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

Parking

Limited parking available on site. Carpooling is encouraged, please arrive early to provide ample time to park.
Additional parking available:

  • Columbia Theological Seminary, after 5 p.m.
  • Columbia Presbyterian Church
  • Street parking on Neighborhood Street across for the park (Inman Dr, Missionary Circle, Kirk Rd., Shadowmore Dr., etc.)

Awards

Overall awards are based on gun time and overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Team and age group awards are based upon net time.

  • Overall and masters champions
  • Age Group Awards for the top three women in each age group for the 5K (10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 5-year increments up to 90 & older).

Virtual Runners

Those selecting the virtual Grand Prix Cross Country 5K race option will be asked to complete and submit their race between Tuesday, October 8, and Friday, October 11. Virtual participants may submit their results by logging in to their haku account and on the "Registration Tab" click "view/edit" event, and submitting a new activity under the Grand Prix Cross Country 5K.

  • Sign into your account here
  • Click on the "Your Registrations" tab
  • In the bottom right corner click "Registration Options" and switch categories.

Participant Account

Take a moment to familiarize yourself with your participant account from haku. There you'll find your race category and distance, race number pickup time slot, race start time, and check-in pass. You can switch distances, change your category to virtual, purchase Will Call and edit your emergency contact information.
