Toe the first start line of 2023 with Atlanta Track Club at the Resolution Run. This event features a 5K, Mile and Dash, and is a great way to get the entire family moving. With a start/finish line conveniently located in Piedmont park, this event is easy to access. The Resolution Run is the best way to get your 2023 off to a healthy start!

Course Map

Course time limit:

  • 5K: 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no headphones, pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course

Timing & Results

Unofficial results available online the afternoon of the event. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquires have been processed.

Your timing device for this event is the Chronotrack single use B-tag. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is...

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

Use of public transportation (MARTA) or rideshare, such as Lyft, is highly encouraged as parking is limited and will be an additional cost. Carpooling is encouraged.

Participant Account

Take a moment to familiarize yourself with your participant account from haku. There you'll find your race category and distance, race start time, and check-in pass. You can switch distances, change your category to virtual, and edit your emergency contact information.

Switching Races

Participants may switch to the virtual event or to the in person event from within their accounts through December 27. Click here for detailed instructions on switching on mobile or click here for instructions for switching on your desktop.

Virtual Participants

Those selecting the Virtual Resolution Run race option will be asked to complete their race between Sunday, January 1, 2023 and Monday, January 2, 2023. Results must be submitted by Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in order to be included in results.

Virtual participants will receive a race bib and commemorative item. The last day to switch and sign up to receive their kits before race day is Monday, December 26 at 11:59 p.m. There will be no switching to the in-person event after this date. Anyone who registers prior to Monday December 26 at 11:59 p.m. will have their kits sent after New Year's Day. Participants who register after this date (12/26) will have items shipped after event day.

Switching races: Registrants may only switch from virtual to in-person prior to December 26. You can switch distances and categories within your haku account. Follow the steps below or click here for detailed instructions:
