2022 PNC Atlanta 10 Miler & 5K Participant Instructions

The PNC Atlanta 10 Miler & 5K is one of Atlanta's most popular running and walking events. Starting and ending at Atlantic Station, runners and walkers wind through Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood. Celebrate your finish with family and friends at one of Atlantic Station's many retail and restaurants- several of which are offering discounts and specials on race weekend.

REGISTRATION

Race day registration is not offered for this event. Onsite registration will be available during race number pickup dates/times held prior to event day, unless events are sold out. Stay tuned for additional information for pre-race number pickup dates and times.

Atlanta Track Club intends to hold the PNC Atlanta 10 Miler & 5K at Atlantic Station as scheduled on October 16, 2022. If the format of the event moves to virtual ONLY or is cancelled all together, you will be given the option to receive a full refund (less processing fees from registration vendor). If, due to COVD-19, the location of the event has to be changed, refunds will not be provided, but you will be immediately notified via email and social media.

TIMING & RESULTS

Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquires have been processed.

Your timing device for this event is the Chronotrack single use B-tag. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is...

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

COURSE

Course time limit:

  • 10 Miler: 2 hours and 30 minutes (15 minute per mile pace)
  • 5K: 1 hour and 20 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course. Headphones are strongly discouraged.

Additional Information

PARKING

Parking is FREE to all participants on race morning. With nearly 6,000 participants, 600 volunteers and countless spectators, getting to Atlantic Station will require extra time. Please plan to arrive no later than one hour prior to your scheduled race start time.

Note: 17th St. will close promptly at 7:00 a.m. to prepare for the race. The only way to access the Atlantic Station parking deck after 7:00 a.m. will be via the 16th St. entrance at the intersection of 16th St. NW and Atlantic Dr. NW.

TRIPLE PEACH

Starting with the 2022 Triple Peach Series, runners and walkers who are registered for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race, PNC Atlanta 10 Miler, and Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon will be automatically entered into the series once they have signed up for all three races. This means there is no longer a separate registration for the Triple Peach Series.

The 2022 PNC Atlanta 10 Miler & 5K is the second event of the Triple Peach Race Series. The Triple Peach commemorative item and medal will be awarded at the conclusion of the Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon.

The Triple Peach Race Series is open to in-person participants ONLY.

Will Call Number Pickup is ONLY available for participants who purchased during the registration process. Participants who did NOT purchase PNC WILL CALL during the initial registration process can do so through Saturday, October 15 at 11:59 p.m. by following these steps:

Step 3: Scroll down until you find PNC WILL CALL, select and purchase. Please note there is a $20 charge for race day will call number pickup

Gear check is NOT offered for this event.

VIRTUAL RUNNERS

Those selecting the virtual PNC Atlanta 10 Miler or 5K race option will be asked to complete their race between Friday, October 14, 2022 and Sunday, October 16, 2022. Results must be submitted by Monday, October 17, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. Virtual participants will receive a race bib, commemorative adidas long sleeve shirt and medal. Virtual participants who register before Thursday, October12 at 11:59 p.m. will have their swag items shipped to them prior to event day. Those registering after the deadline will have their race packet sent after the event

Overall and Masters awards are based on gun time and overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Age group awards are based on net time.

10 Miler awards (all awards will be mailed):

  • Overall male, female, and non-binary
  • Masters male, female, and non-binary

Age group awards will be mailed to the top three finishers in each age division:

  • 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, and 90+ (excluding the overall winners)


5K awards (all awards will be mailed):

  • Overall male, female, and non-binary
  • Masters male, female, and non-binary


Age group awards will be mailed to the top three finishers in each age division:
