Join us for the Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler presented by Audi on August 6, 2022 and race through beautiful Decatur neighborhoods. This event is free to Atlanta Track Club members and only $20 for nonmembers. This is the sixth event in the 2022 Atlanta Track Club Grand Prix Series.

Timing & Results

Unofficial results available online the afternoon of the event. Results are made official approximately one week after the event, after all inquires have been processed.

Your timing device for this event is the Chronotrack single use B-tag. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is...

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

PARKING & MARTA

Paid parking is available in public parking decks (Courthouse/County Deck is closest) along W. Trinity Pl. Carpooling is encouraged. Participants are encouraged to utilize MARTA and access Decatur High School from the Decatur transit station (closer station) or the East Lake Station.

RECYCLE YOUR SHOES

Did you know? Shoes can take up to 1,000 years to break down in landfills. On race day, bring your used running shoes and visit the EcoSneakers tent to drop them off to be recycled or repurposed!

RACE NUMBER PICK UP

Decatur Dekalb 4 Miler number pickup will held race morning beginning at 6:00 a.m. at the bus pavilion.

VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS

Those selecting the virtual Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler presented by Audi Atlanta race option will be asked to complete and submit their race between Friday, August 5, 2022, and Monday, August 8, 2022. Virtual participants may submit their results by logging in to their haku account and on the "Registration Tab" click "view/edit" event, and submitting a new activity under the Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler presented by Audi Atlanta.

  • Sign into your account here
  • Click on the "Your Registrations" tab
  • In the bottom right corner click "Registration Options" and switch categories.

HYDRATION

Please arrive with your own hydration for this event. There will be one aid station on course for those needing to refill their personal hydration system. Participants will receive a bottle of water at the finish line.

AWARDS

Overall awards are based on gun time and overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Age group awards are based on net time.

  • Overall male, female and non-binary
  • Masters male, female and non-binary
  • Age Group Awards for the top three males, females and non-binary in each 5 year age division (10 & under, 11- 4, 15-19, five year increments up to 90+)

GRAND PRIX

The Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler presented by Audi Atlanta is the sixth event in the 2022 Atlanta Track Club Grand Prix Series. For more information on the 2021 Grand Prix Series, please click here. Please note Your age on December 31, 2022 is used as your base age for Grand Prix scoring. For example, if you are currently 34 years old but will be turning 35 in November, your age will appear as 35 in the standing throughout the Grand Prix season.

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no pets or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates and bicycles are permitted on the 4 Mile course.

In order to serve all our athletes, Atlanta Track Club offers opportunities for Athletes with Disabilities (AWD). Atlanta Track Club officials will provide reasonable accommodation to Athletes with Disabilities on an individualized and event by event basis.
