Join Harry the Hawk, the Flight Crew, ATL Boom, 404 Crew, the ATL Dancers, Host Shamea, and DJ MoHawk as you make your way around State Farm Arena at the 2022 Hawks Fast Break 5K presented by Sharecare. Registration includes FREE race day parking, a $20 voucher to use toward a ticket to a Hawks game.

Vouchers are eligible for any Atlanta Hawks home game. However, the games listed below have $20 ticket available for which your voucher would cover the entire cost of your ticket. Please see below for that list of games where the $20 voucher can fully cover a ticket starting 1/1/22.

  • Wednesday, April 6 - Atlanta Hawks vs. Washington Wizards

Participants will receive a ticketing email roughly one week after registering. The email will contain a unique voucher code and instructions for redemption. The runner's voucher may be applied towards any qualifying game offering a $20 ticket, any other game selected would result in an upcharge.

*Participants can purchase additional tickets upon redemption of runner voucher.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION

  • Cost: $50.00

Free parking is not available for those registering on race day.

T-shirt sizing and availability cannot be guaranteed for those registering on race day.

Atlanta Track Club intends to hold the Fast Break 5K presented by Sharecare at State Farm Arena as scheduled on April 2, 2022. If the format of the event moves to virtual ONLY or is cancelled all together, you will be given the option to receive a full refund (less processing fees from registration vendor). If, due to COVD-19, the location of the event has to be changed, refunds will not be provided, but you will be immediately notified via email and social media.

TIMING & RESULTS

Unofficial results are available online the afternoon of the event. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquires have been processed.

Your timing device for this event is the Chronotrack single use B-tag. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is:

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

Course

Course time limit:

  • 5K: 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)

    Any participant still on the course after the course time limit is reached will be asked to move to the sidewalk and will not have event services available.

    For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course. Headphones are strongly discouraged.

PARTICIPANT ACCOUNT

NUMBER/T-SHIRT PICK-UP

Number pick-up will take place the morning of the event beginning at 6:30 a.m. T-shirts will be distributed after the event.

GEAR CHECK FOR MARTA PASSENGERS

Participants utilizing MARTA to travel to/from the event are invited to check gear at a special "MARTA Passenger Gear Check" located inside State Farm Arena. Show your MARTA Breeze card and check your warm clothes for safe keeping until after the event. Open to MARTA passengers only.

GAME TICKETS

Your 5K entry comes with one (1) $20 ticket voucher to use toward any Hawks home game from the time you register until the end of the regular season.

Upon registration, you will be emailed a unique voucher code as well as instructions for redemption. You will be able to add additional tickets at a discounted rate when you redeem your participant ticket. If you want to ensure that you sit beside fellow runners, please coordinate your purchases or redeem your vouchers simultaneously. Upon redemption, details will be emailed to you on how to access your ticket(s) through the Hawks App.

Please note that all games will be made available but select games may be more expensive. Please see above for a list of games with $20 seats available.

  • Age Group Awards for the top three males, females, and non-binary in each age group for the 5K (10 & younger, 11-14, 5-year increments up to 90 & older).

MARTA

State Farm Arena is accessible via the MARTA Blue or Green lines at the GWCC/CNN stop and will drop you directly at the check-in location for the event.

VIRTUAL RUNNERS

Those selecting the Virtual Hawks Fast Break 5K race option will be asked to complete their race between Friday, April 1, 2022, and Sunday, April 3, 2022. Results must be submitted by Monday, April 4, 2022, at 12:00 p.m.

Virtual participants will receive a race bib and adidas T-shirt. Virtual participants who register before Wednesday, March 23 at 11:59 p.m. will have their swag items shipped to them prior to event day. Those registering after the deadline will have their race kit sent after the event.

Free parking is available to all event participants in the Ruby Lot and the Sapphire Deck. Please print this parking pass for free parking or you will be charged at each location.

EVENT SECURITY

Anyone entering the arena with a bag, including a fanny pack or race belt, will be subject to a bag check. It is highly encouraged that all bags be left at home or in your vehicle. Also, no outside food or drink is allowed inside the arena other than those given to runners at the finish of the event.
