TIMING & RESULTS

Unofficial results available online the afternoon of the event. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquires have been processed.

Your timing device for this event is the Chronotrack single use B-tag. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is...

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

Course time limit:

  • Half Marathon: 3 hours and 30 minutes (16 minute per mile pace)
  • 5K: 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no headphones, pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course.

SWITCHING RACES

If you would like to switch races, you must do so during packet pick-up hours held prior to event day. There will be no refunds for switching from the half marathon to the 5K, and additional fees will apply for those switching from the 5K to half marathon. Shirts will be provided based on availability to those switching events. Those switching events on race morning will be disqualified and removed from the results.

Free parking is available at Turner Field in the Gold, Orange, Green, Blue, Red, Grey and Brown lots.

TON OF CLOTHING DRIVE

Atlanta Track Club has once again joined forces with Atlanta Mission in hopes of collecting a TON of clothing. Here's how you can help us meet our goal:

  • Bring clothing with you to donate at race number pick-up
  • Wear clothing you'd like to donate as your warmup clothes for the Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon events and shed your clothes prior to the race start or along the course. We'll gather clothing from the start line and throughout the course to be cleaned and donated.
  • Atlanta Track Club is offering a Will Call option for the Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon events. The cost is $20 per entry, and half of the proceeds will be donated to Atlanta Mission, which supports Atlanta's homeless. See above "Will Call" section for more details.


PACE TEAM

The Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon Pace Team is here to help you achieve your goals at the event. Pace teams will be available for the following finish times:

  • 1:35 (7:15)
  • 1:40 (7:38)
  • 1:45 (8:01)
  • 1:50 (8:24)
  • 2:00 (9:10)
  • 2:15 (10:18)
  • 2:30 (11:27)
  • 2:45 (12:38)

Participants can sign up at the Atlanta Track Club tent during race number pick-up.

Half Marathon awards (awarded on race day):

  • Overall male and female
  • Masters male and female
  • Grandmasters male and female

Age group awards will be mailed to the top three finishers in each age division:

  • 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+ (excluding the overall winners)

5K awards (awarded on race day):

  • Overall male and female
  • Masters male and female
  • Grandmasters male and female

Age group awards will be mailed to the top three finishers in each age division:

  • 8-14, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 (excluding the overall winners)

TRIPLE PEACH

Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon pieces for the 2015 Triple Peach medals, as well as your 2015 Triple Peach finisher's shirt, will be awarded in the post-race festival area. If you were unable to claim your medal after Peachtree, or your second piece after the 10 Miler, all three pieces will be available at the Triple Peach tent at the conclusion of the Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon.

COBB COUNTY KIA

Cobb County Kia will be showcasing the latest Kia vehicles on course. Check them out on race day and schedule a test drive at the dealership. The first 100 people who bring in their race bib to Cobb County Kia through December 12 and test drive a vehicle will receive a Mizuno - Atlanta Track Club branded water bottle.
