2018 Atlanta Hawks Fast Break 5K presented by Sharecare

Join Harry the Hawk, the Flight Crew, and your Atlanta Hawks Cheerleaders as you make your way around Philips Arena at the fourth annual Atlanta Hawks Fast Break 5K presented by Sharecare. Registration includes FREE race day parking, a $25 voucher to use towards a ticket to a Hawks game, plus a $10 food voucher. In addition, the first 1000 registrants receive an Atlanta Hawks scarf!

Participants will receive an email in late November with their unique voucher code and instructions for redemption. The runner’s voucher may be applied towards any 2018 Atlanta Hawks games after January 12th, 2018. The following games offer a $25 ticket, any other game selected would result in an upcharge.

Unofficial results are available online the afternoon of the event. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquires have been processed.

COURSE

Atlanta Hawks Fast Break 5K presented by Sharecare Course Map

Course time limit:

5K: 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace).
Any participant still on the course after the course time limit is reached will be asked to move to the sidewalk and will not have event services available.
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course. Headphones are strongly discouraged.

5k: Ages 8 & older

NUMBER/T-SHIRT PICK-UP

Number pick-up will take place the morning of the event beginning at 6:30 a.m. T-shirts and scarves (to the first 1000 registered) will be distributed after the event.

GEAR CHECK FOR MARTA PASSENGERS

Participants utilizing MARTA to travel to/from the Fast Break 5K are invited to check gear at a special "MARTA Passenger Gear Check" located inside Philips Arena. Show your MARTA Breeze card and check your warm clothes for safe keeping until after the event. Open to MARTA passengers only.

COURTSIDE PHOTOS

Photo opportunities on the hardwood will be available BEFORE the event for a limited time, 6:30 a.m. - 7:15 a.m.. Come early and smile!

GAME TICKETS

Your 5K entry comes with one (1) $25 ticket voucher to use toward any Hawks home game from January 12th, 2018 until the end of the regular season.

Upon registration, you will be emailed a unique voucher code as well as instructions for redemption. You will be able to add additional tickets at a discounted rate when you redeem your participant ticket. If you want to ensure that you sit beside fellow runners, please coordinate your purchases or redeem your vouchers simultaneously. All tickets will be preloaded with a $10 food/beverage credit. Upon redemption, details will be emailed to you on how to access your ticket(s) through the Hawks App.

Please note that all games will be made available but select games may be more expensive. Please see above for a list of games with $25 seats available.

Age Group Awards for the top three males and females in each age group for the 5K (14 & younger, 5-year increments up to 90 & older).

MARTA

Philips Arena is accessible via the MARTA Blue or Green lines at the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN stop and will drop you directly at the check-in location for the event.

PARKING

Centennial Parking Deck (131 Centennial Olympic Park Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30303) or the Philips Lot. Directions to the Philips Lot

You must be pre-registered for this event to receive free parking. Please bring the parking pass emailed to you in your participant email and display it on your dash if parking in one of these decks. If you register on race day you will not be eligible for FREE race day parking.

Atlanta Track Club signs and volunteers will help guide you from the parking deck to check-in inside Philips Arena.

EVENT SECURITY

Anyone entering the arena with a bag, including a fanny pack or race belt, will be subject to a bag check. It is highly encouraged that all bags be left at home or in your vehicle. Also, no outside food or drink is allowed inside the arena other than those given to runners at the finish of the event.
